Eric is a top notch guide with loads of experience and a pleasure to spend time on the water. He is very patient and a great teacher, which you always don't find with experienced fishing guides. He plans your trip around your fishing goals and targets the very best times to be out chasing tails. He has top notch boats and equipment. We experienced a great day on the water targeting big bull reds using topwaters. Not for the faint of heart, as it was a blustery day coming out of the NE, and the bulls were picky and finicky. Great morning trip. 2 good fisherman and 1 first time fisherwoman. Started with some top water baits trying to stay out of the wind. Caught a couple of nice red's and then the rookie caught her first fish on her own, a great 3 lb. speckled trout. Changed to a mid-sized jig to catch some trout and both were successful. Then with about 15 minutes to go my son hooked a great redfish. Excellent battle on 15lb test but he got it done. Captain Eric was very nice and we really enjoyed out 3 hour trip.

Wanted to find someone to take me, my son and grandson out fishing. We found Captain Eric- very knowledgeable, nice guy - got us on to fish right away. Taught us how to catch them. It was a very enjoyable trip. Would recommend Captain Eric- and wish we could just fished longer.

Capt. Eric is a delight and made our outing a memorable fishing experience. We had a lot of fun with trout today and a couple other varieties. We moved around, tried various lures, and kept the conversation entertaining and educational.
My son(12) and I went out mid morning. Caught fish within 5 minutes and caught fish for the next 3 hours. Eric was awesome, was great with my son and easy going and laid back about everything . We enjoyed it and would definitely do it again
Went out with Captain Eric for a 4 hour morning trip in search of Red fish and trout. We got on fish early using top water, catching a few reds as well as trout. As the sun got higher and the temperature warmed up the bite slowed but Captain Eric's knowledge kept us in the game, we changed techniques and areas and got on fish again quickly. By the end of the day we had caught, a few Reds, MANY Trout, and even a few Lady fish. Captain Eric made us feel welcome from start to finish, the action was pretty consistent and he worked hard to keep it that way. I've been trolling offshore before and had a good time but, as a bass angler, I enjoyed this trip so much more. If you are going to be in the area and you want to actually fish, I would highly recommend a trip with Captain Eric at Hurricane Charters.
