During the heart of the winter months, trips will be geared towards sight fishing for Redfish in the skinny water. During the wintertime here the water tends to be gin clear and we have negative tides - making it perfect to look for Redfish crawling along in mere inches of water on the muddy bottoms that warm up on sunny days. Trips will generally start a bit later in the morning (say 9:00am or 10:00am) to give the water temps a chance to increase a bit (hopefully!)
Winter sight fishing may be with spinning tackle or fly rod - it's up to you! However I should warn you that the fish are incredibly spooky given the conditions. Accurate casting and soft presentations are critical.
